The purpose of Dakota County Star Quilters is to offer an interesting and informative forum to share our common interest in the art of quilting.

Membership: Membership dues are $36 for the 2025 calendar year, payable in January. If you become a member during any other month of the year, dues will be pro-rated for the remaining portion of the calendar year. Checks should be made payable to ‘Dakota County Star Quilters”. When you are a member, you will receive monthly electronic newsletters and be part of a loving and supportive group. We do not sell our membership information. Membership Application 2025_new_member_application.docx Visitors: We welcome visitors and are glad to welcome you! The first meeting you attend is free. Subsequent visits you will be asked to pay $5 to help us cover costs. We hope you will consider joining our guild. Please see the Membership area for dues information. Facebook Groups: DCSQ Members only This groups is for members of the Dakota County Star Quilters quilt guild. This group differs from the Dakota County Star Quilters (DCSQ) group in a couple ways: 1. This group is intended for paid guild members only. Providing access to benefits that only members have access to. Such as newsletters, membership information, and other member only information. 2. This is a private group. The other group is a public group, which allows anyone on facebook to access and view posts within that group. We wanted to provide an environment for our guild members to openly share with each other, while still having privacy amongst the group. Our hope is that this will create an online community for the guild to be able to feel comfortable in sharing with each other, when we are not meeting in person, in a more private setting. Dakota County Star Quilters Friends (DCSQ) The purpose of Dakota County Star Quilters (DCSQ) shall be to contribute to the growth of knowledge about quilting techniques, patterns, history and quilt-making by providing educational meetings, fun and fellowship, by sponsoring and supporting quilting activities, by encouraging quilt-making, and by promoting the appreciation and knowledge of quilts. |
2024-2025 Board Members
Board Members positions are held for one year. Elections are held at the May meeting and positions run from June through May of the following year. There are no limits to how long you can serve.
